Oké where do I start? Almost 2 years ago we picked up the idea for the Dutch open 2025, when in Covid the actual planning was we need to postpone. The adventure begins with lots of ideas and how it will be. Jurgen Smit en Sharon Broeders and myself. Last week it was time to start with building up this tournament , 2 days of very hot temperatures from 34 Celsius and more. Lots of volunteers are already on their post. Doing lots of work the hole week , without them there wasn’t a Dutch open, you where Amazing!!!!!! . The top judges Petra, Vittorio, Marc,Jan and Christl. The Sponsor Happy Dog. Thanks for the beautiful prices. The venue”het Keelven in Someren. Leon for his amazing presentation performance and site building. Pieter for the live results. And on and on. I was proud to make this Dutch open a success in all points. Myself I had long days and lots of things to do, some good things, sometimes emotional stuff, tears and laugh we so close together, but most of all Joy. Thank you participants from all over the world . Hope to see you in the summer of 2027 for the second Dutch open !!!!
Finalizing the last details of the Dutch Open, tired but satisfied, I look back at a succesfull event that makes me proud. Once again big thanks to all our volunteers, who not only helped during the competition days but also during the preperation in setting everything up at the event grounds. Could not have done it without you all!
Also a last thanks to all present at our event, hope you will all come next time, for we will now start our idea's and preperations for the next edition in 2 years time. Within a few days I will post a questionaire in which you will be asked what you did like and what improvements we can make.
